Our thanks to John Forshey for
his message last Sunday evening, and to all the young men who participated in our assembly. God willing, our young men
will lead our worship again in January.
The Washington County Fair is currently underway,
and next weekend will be the Sternwheel Festival. Usually we have a few more visitors with us this week and next,
so please make a special effort to greet our guests and make them feel at home.
Boyd
and Violet Ring will be leaving us soon for the northeast to be closer to family there. We wish
them well in their move. Please keep them in your prayers as they travel.
The Lord willing,
next Sunday I will be with the church in Moorefield, WV to begin a gospel meeting. Randy will be speaking
at both our morning and evening assemblies in my absence. Both adult classes will meet in the auditorium for a combined
class Sunday morning, and again Wednesday evening the 15th.
Just so you will know,
I am also scheduled to be with the church in Berkeley Springs, WV the week of September 26-30. Berkeley Springs is where
Doug Petty preaches. That will be my final meeting this fall.

please don't forget to turn the addresses of your college students into the office. We will include them in our bulletin
just as soon as we can.
Our gospel meeting with Tim Hatfield is only two months
away. Plan to be here for every assembly, and make a list of folks you can invite to come with you.
